Church of the Risen Christ

 

It was on December 24, 1985 when a Bible Study was birthed in the garage of whose residence’s desire was to develop it into a church. With this in their hearts, prayers were offered unto God to send help to start the church. In 1986, God answered our prayers by sending us a missionary family from the United States.

The Bible study soon developed into a church as the foundations were laid (foundation being Jesus Christ the Word of God), and as the governments were set up according to the Holy scriptures.

In 1987, Agape Training School was established to train and disciple Filipinos to run with the vision of the ministry.

On August 14, 1987, the church was registered at the Securities and Exchange Commissions (SEC) under the name Philippine Agape Ministries Inc. then it was in August of 1994, going on our eight year  (a year of new beginnings) that the Lord led us to change our name to the Church of the Risen Christ . Along with this new name the Lord has also renewed our zeal to accomplish the great task that He has entrusted to us.
